“This purchase, as with our purchase of the Cielo Mar land, was made possible through our strategic relationship with the land owners, whose interest in the land is maintained through Contel’s minority stake in Procon,” explained Jan Telander, CEO of ProGreen. “The purchase would simply not have been possible otherwise. This is very much a win-win situation.

Just a short walk from the existing Arenoso farm, this land provides an incredible opportunity to expand for large-scale production, with over 1,000 acres expected to be farmable. But we also see this land supporting sustainable living within Cielo Mar and the local region, through farm and ranch operations for cattle, dairy, poultry, pork, and a variety of fresh produce for local consumption.”

“There is more here,” Jan added. “Land that is not farmed will be perfect in this location, with such a beautiful landscape, to support eco-friendly tourism, country living and outdoor activities with cabins, ranches, a rental/tour/travel office… ranch retreat… equestrian and hiking/biking trails… off-road adventure touring – what many people around the world think of, when they think of Baja California!”
